This policy applies to the website and products offered by Verifreta at https://verifreta.com (the “service”). It covers visitors, people who run a carrier lookup, people who create an account, and people who contact us. Government systems you open from our links have their own notices; this policy covers only what we collect when you use Verifreta.

what we offer

We provide tools that help freight brokers review carrier identity and related desk information before booking, including lookups, optional monitoring of carriers you choose to track, document checks you upload, team workspace features, and reference guides. We use secure services to host the product, authenticate accounts, store your workspace data, process payments when you subscribe, and keep the service reliable.

what we collect

• Account details you provide when you sign in or invite teammates (such as name, email, and organization name).
• Lookup and workspace activity needed to run the product (for example identifiers you search, carriers you monitor, alerts, and documents you upload for review).
• Billing and subscription status associated with your organization when you start a trial or subscribe.
• Standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, path, and time) used to operate, secure, and debug the service.
• Messages you send us by email or contact forms.

public carrier records

Carrier information shown in reports is drawn from official public U.S. transportation records. We do not sell those records as a marketing list. A lookup requests a public record for the identifier you submit. Do not enter other people’s sensitive personal identifiers into the product; it is built for business identifiers such as USDOT, docket, and company name.

how we use information

We use the information above to provide and improve the service, authenticate users, enforce plan limits, send product notices you opt into (such as alert emails), prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.

sharing

We share information with secure service providers that help us run the product (hosting, authentication, data storage, payments, email delivery, and similar operations), and when required by law. We cannot change or delete official government carrier records; request corrections through the issuing agency.
