what this covers
This page describes how refunds, trials, and cancellations work for paid Verifreta Desk subscription fees. It does not apply to free public DOT, MC, and name lookup tools on the marketing site. Verifreta is a desk aid for carrier checks; official U.S. transportation records remain on SAFER and FMCSA Licensing & Insurance.
free tools
Limited public lookup tools on the marketing site are free and do not require a subscription. There is no charge and nothing to refund for those tools.
trials
When we offer a trial on Desk, the length is stated at signup and checkout (currently 7 days unless we state otherwise there). Cancel before the trial ends using the billing controls in your account if you do not want to be charged for the first subscription period.
subscriptions
Paid desk features are offered on a subscription basis as described on the pricing page (currently $49 per month after any trial). Subscriptions are month-to-month unless we state otherwise before you pay. You may cancel anytime using the billing controls in your account. After cancellation, access continues through the paid period already purchased unless we say otherwise.
refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where Verifreta expressly offers a refund. To ask about a refund, email support@verifreta.com from the address on your account and include the organization email used for billing. We will respond with what applies to your situation.
billing errors and disputes
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us at support@verifreta.com before disputing with your bank or card issuer when you can. Include the invoice or charge date, amount, and account email so we can review the subscription record.
changes
We may update this refund policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of a paid subscription after an update is subject to the revised policy for new charges.
